The Modelica & FMI Conference 2025 is behind us. For us, it was a week full of exchange and validation: SSP is the next step for trustworthy, collaborative system simulation—and with easySSP it’s already here for everyday use.
SSP Tutorial with Bosch & Dassault
Together with Antoine Vandamme (Robert Bosch GmbH) and Dag Brück (Dassault Systèmes AB), we co-hosted an SSP tutorial at the conference. Participants got an in-depth look at SSP and SSP Traceability—including a hands-on session with easySSP. Additionally, Antoine demonstrated how Bosch utilizes easySSP’s workflow mechanism, together with SSP and SSP Traceability, to enable credible simulation model development and efficient development processes together with Dymola. The room was full and the feedback we received was excellent.
Vendor Talk: “Building Trust in Simulation-Based Engineering”
In our vendor presentation, “Building Trust in Simulation-Based Engineering: Credible Simulations with easySSP and the SSP Standard,” we showed how easySSP—built on SSP and SSP Traceability—makes simulations credible, repeatable, auditable, and portable with open standards.
SSP & SSP Traceability in practice
SSP and SSP Traceability were central to many conference talks, particularly from industry.
One example was Oliver Lenord’s (Robert Bosch GmbH) talk, “Towards a Credible System Simulation Architecture applicable to Heat Pump Systems using Modelica, FMI, and SSP” demonstrating at a heat-pump case study how the Credible Simulation process and SSP, combined with easySSP and Dymola, deliver portable, traceable simulations.

At the conference, we had many inspiring conversations with an international audience and showcased easySSP in action at our booth. Topics ranged from mapping ASAM-OSI interfaces into SSP to increase interoperability to a demo of AI-assisted model creation with easySSP.
